CPL 2023: A Preview of the Caribbean Cricket Extravaganza

The third week of August 2023 will mark the start of the Caribbean Premier League, better known as CPL T20.

Six teams from the Caribbean Islands will compete in the competition, which will last for many weeks. At the Daren Sammy Cricket Ground, the season’s opening match will pit the host Saint Lucia Kings against the reigning champion Jamaica Tallawahs.


Five locations will host six matches apiece during the tournament. The Daren Sammy Cricket Ground will host the first six league-stage games, and Warner Park in St. Kitts will host the remaining six. The following six games will be staged in Barbados, Trinidad, and Guyana, respectively. The final six league stage games will take place in Trinidad.

Guyana will also serve as the host nation for the playoffs, which include the Eliminator, Qualifier 1, Qualifier 2, and the grand finale.

On September 25, the summit match will take place at Providence Stadium. The two top teams from the competition will square off in the match, which is expected to be a thrilling event. The CPL 2023 is expected to be a spectacular event with lots of action, drama, and treasured memories for cricket fans all over the world.
