The Comeback Kings: Players Set to Make a Strong Return in IPL 2023

One of the biggest IPL 2023 surprises has been Ajinkya Rahane. He has scored 254 runs at an average of 16 and a strike rate of 104.5 across the previous three IPL seasons. His strike rate in any season had never reached 140 during his IPL career. His dot ball percentage had never before been less than 33 in any season (it is 19.9% this year). He was competing in domestic cricket with the intention of making a comeback after being released from the India Test team.

When Ben Stokes was unavailable, he was given a chance at the Wankhede Stadium for CSK, and he never looked back. In addition to securing his spot at No. 3 for CSK, he was also re-inducted into India’s squad for the WTC Final and now stands a decent chance of resurrecting his international career.
